Do you offer therapy to adults?
Yes, we have therapists who specialize in both adults and pediatrics.
Do your therapists speak English and Spanish?
Yes
Do I need a referral?
Yes; however, if you do not have a referral, we can provide assistance and help you obtain one.

Payments
What if I don’t have insurance?
No problem – We accept cash, credit cards and checks.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept most major credit cards.
What types of payment do you accept?
All forms of payment are accepted: Cash, Credit Cards, and Checks.
Schedule
Do you follow APS’s schedule?
No. We offer flexible schedules to accommodate our client’s busy lives both before after school, as well as special hours on Saturdays.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes. We are open on Saturdays from 7:00am to 1:30pm.
Are you open on holidays?
Yes. We are open on most holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Expectations
Is there a waitlist to become a client?
Often times a waitlist may exist, but we strive to get our future clients evaluated and following a Plan of Care ASAP.
What can I expect from my first session?
Our first sessions will always be an evaluation or assessment of our client’s skills. Therapists will discuss assessment information, Plan of Care, and schedule follow-up treatments with client and/or caregiver/family, if appropriate.
How long do sessions last?
30 minutes to an hour.
How often will we meet?
Clients are scheduled based on their assessment outcomes. Typically they are seen 1 to 3 times a week.
How is my progress measured?
Progress is measured each session, and is based on the client's goals and objectives.
Can I observe my child’s sessions?
Yes, parents/caregivers are welcome in the sessions, if appropriate.
Specific Questions
What can I do at home to help with my child’s development process, and what are my responsibilities as the parent?
At the end of each therapy session, your therapist will discuss and train you on techniques and / or activities to complete at home. It is important that parents compete activities at home to assist with carryover from what is being worked on and learned in the clinical setting.

Can my child have early intervention and out-patient services at the same time?
Yes. However, there are specific rules that apply. It is important to notify us when you are considering both services simultaneously.
