Speech-Language Pathologist (SLPs)
Speech-Language Pathology is the study and treatment of human communication and its disorders. SLPs are trained professionals who work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Physical Therapists
(PT)

PTs are trained professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical/health related conditions that limit physical mobility. PTs focus on an individual’s ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. PTs work on prevention of loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles with therapeutic exercise and functional training. (apta.org)
Occupational Therapists (OT)
OTs are trained professionals who help individuals of all ages, to acquire or regain the skills needed to help perform, adapt and participate more fully in the activities of daily life. OTs work on all senses including body awareness (proprioception) and movement (vestibular). OTs help individuals learn to use tools and technologies in order to overcome limitations faced in day-to-day activities or the workplace. (aota.org)
