Monica Gurule,  M.S., CCC-SLP

Monica is the owner of Bilingual Interventions and is a seasoned Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist. Monica has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2001. Her clinical expertise is within the areas of Speech, Language, Cognition, Dysphagia (Swallowing) and Feeding. Her foundation has developed through her combined experiences within the Occupational Medicine, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Hospital and Outpatient clinic settings as well as Private Practice. She has received in-depth and specialized training in the areas of Neurological Disorders and Dysphagia for the adult and pediatric populations as well as speech and language acquisition with monolingual and bilingual children.  

Monica holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. She regularly participates in continuing education to enhance and provide the most effective and innovative therapy approaches for her clients as well as business practice. Monica is a native New Mexican and continually strives to improve the lives of her clients and families within the community. She serves as a facilitator for related services and collaborates with the providers to meet the needs of each and every client she serves. Her clinical expertise, genuine commitment and drive is reflected in the success her client’s achieve. 


Kathryn S. Haase, M.S., CCC-SLP

Kathryn has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1984.  She comes to us after a 27-year career in the public schools.  Kathryn’s clinical expertise is in the areas of speech, language, and cognitive disorders.  She has received advanced training in many complex disorders and disabilities, and has extensive experience with preschool and school-aged children with a wide variety of conditions.  Throughout her career in the schools, Kathryn has continued to develop and refine her understanding of the relationship between language and academic skills so that her intervention will help improve classroom performance.  Kathryn has worked collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams with both regular and special education teachers and related service providers such as Occupational, Physical, and Music Therapists.  She enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, has been a volunteer teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) in the community, and is trained in Accent Modification Therapy. 

Kathryn holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  She regularly participates in continuing education courses in order to stay current in her field and provide the most effective, evidence-based treatment approaches for her clients.   Kathryn’s expertise and genuine commitment to providing high quality care for her clients and their families make her an asset to our clinic and the community we serve.
